En el libro “Frases de cajón: origen y significado” se menciona la frase “me importa un bledo”. Me da curiosidad saber ¿cuál versión prefieren?

2022-07-23 06:12:35 Una frase más para la colección: “no me importa seis peniques”.

Tell Mary that I make over Mr. Heartley and all his estate to her for her sole use and benefit in future, and not only him, but all my other admirers into the bargain wherever she can find them, even the kiss which C. Powlett wanted to give me, as I mean to confine myself in future to Mr. Tom Lefroy, for whom I don't care sixpence.
Carta de Jane Austen a Cassandra Austen, 1796

I don’t care sixpence for any of the opinions you mention, on such a subject…

"Ekaterina Schulmann, one of the 2022 judges, said: “In one of the darkest years in post-WWII world history, I think it is particularly honourable of Pushkin House to keep rewarding painstaking scholarship and dedicated studies of Russian history, societal development and culture that are both fundamental and approachable. These books reflect the varieties and revel in the richness of human experience and endeavour that are so easy to lose sight of but should be preserved as an integral part of our shared humanity. The Pushkin House Book Prize is faithful to its mission of fostering and encouraging deeper understanding of the immense complexities of cultures within and beyond Russia.”

The 2022 shortlisted titles are:
On the Edge: Life along the Russia-China Border by Frank Billie and Caroline Humphrey
Navalny: Putin’s Nemesis, Russia’s Future? by Jan Matti Dollbaum, Morvan Lallouet and Ben Noble
Weak Strongman: The limits of power in Putin’s Russia by Timothy Frye
Klimat: Russian in the Age of Climate Change by Thane Gustafson
Not One Inch: America, Russia, and the Making of Post-Cold War Stalemate by Mary Sarotte
In Memory of Memory by Maria Stepanova
Stalin’s Architect: Power and Survival in Moscow by Deyan Sudjic
The Empress and the English Doctor: How Catherine the Great defied a deadly virus by Lucy Ward
Playing with Fire: The Story of Maria Yudina, Pianist in Stalin’s Russia by Elizabeth Wilson
Collapse: The Fall of the Soviet Union by Vladislav Zubok".

Pushkin House book prize, that awards the best non-fiction writings about Russia, and of which I have this year the honour of being a jury member, has published a judges' short list.

It's a 10th anniversary of the prize, and a it's real marvel of bravery and dedication that the Pushkin house was able to carry on in 2022. On the list are many dear friends and favorite authors, although a judge is not supposed to air one's predilections in public (waiving a kiss, however, to Maria Stepanova and In Memory of Memory).
The final winner will be declared later in September: some time left to read the listed books!
