En la Iglesia Católica existe una tradición de recitar 1.000 veces el Nombre de Jesús. Hoy, cuando celebramos la Fiesta de su Santísimo Nombre, queremos adoptar esta tradición, cantando 1.000 veces “Yeshua” (Jesús en hebreo) y ofreciéndolo por el Papa Benedicto XVI. Os invitamos también a vosotros a cantar con nosotros por él, para que pronto pueda contemplar a Dios en toda su gloria, como tanto anhelaba. Al mismo tiempo, lo ofrecemos también como agradecimiento por todo lo que él hizo por el Señor y la Iglesia.
